Sex: it’s on the news, in the theatres, in your favorite television shows, on the Internet, on commercials, in magazines, on the street. Sex is Everywhere with a capital E! But can we trust these representations? Or are they just trying to sell me a specific brand of gum? Maybe you’ll go ask your parents…

So you approached dad, and all you got was some inaudible mutter and a hasty exit. Sexual health is often a taboo topic, and it can be difficult to get an honest answer from adults, even your teachers. While Sex Education programs run by schools may scratch the surface, they hardly address the hard questions – and this isn’t to say that it’s the schools’ fault. Sometimes people feel a tad squeamish asking these types of questions. So we have students who don’t ask, and adults that don’t tell, and media that lies… this is a problem.

ENTER FitKidz:

If you came to this page expecting a sugar coated “birds and bees” discussion about sexual health, sorry to disappoint. We will tell you the facts, because we believe that the only way you are able to make the right choices is if you have the right information. Some of the things we will talk about include, but are not limited to: healthy relationships, abstinence, puberty, reproductive anatomy, menstruation, masturbation, STDs, going to the doctor, pregnancy, heterosexuality, homosexuality, transexuality, birth control, and more.

So go ahead and ask, embarrassment-free!!
