Physical fitness is an essential component to good health.  Regular physical activity should be a part of your lifestyle as someone who cares about how they feel and how they look.  This doesn’t mean that you have to go to the gym to be active.  Many people prefer to go for a walk, or a run, play a sport basically anything that gets your body moving.  This section will provide you with some tips for physical fitness, programs, good exercises, routines and creative options for those of you who hate the idea of getting up and getting moving.

Do you have any suggestions to get moving without having to go to the gym?

In response to question 1…there are so many ways to get moving outside of the gym experience. The answers are numerous you just have to do what you like and get moving at the same time. On a nice day I would walk over to a friend’s house and then the two of us can go out for tea or something healthy to eat. I also like doing exercises at home but I do them throughout the day to re energize me. For example, in the morning I wake up and do some stretches…sometimes I go for a run. On the weekends I like going mini golfing, rock climbing, swimming, skating…basically it can be anything as long as you are active.

In response to question 2….you should be active everyday. Our lives are changing and it is actually possible for people to work from home and still do their work and fulfill their responsibilities. But because technology is making life easier maybe that is resulting in our lifestyles to become less active because we are not moving as much. To be healthy you need to be active every day. You don’t need to over do it either but you will know what is right for you.

In response to number 4…building muscle takes discipline. You need to work your muscles till the exhaustion point that might mean doing 12-15 reps of 3 sets working until the last 2 or 3 reps are difficult. When you slowly increase the weight your muscles will become stronger. Building muscle also requires losing fat and eating healthy.
