Well, you must be wondering…how can I take care of my mind. Well, through physical fitness, proper health and nutrition you are already taking care of your mind. This however is not the only way to care for your growing minds.

Our brains need to be exercised so we stay sharp and alert in school and our everyday lives. This can be done in simple ways – reading for pleasure, doing the daily crossword, getting enough sleep, etc.

Also, like the rest of our bodies, our brains can become overloaded – so remember to not go overboard with studying and take breaks. Your brain deserves some fun too!

    Getting enough rest is so hard…do you have any advice for sleeping troubles?

    Getting enough rest is crucial for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. As young people who are still growing and developing getting enough rest and eating right are very important for healthy development. Exercise might actually help with getting better rest. Maybe you need to try changing up your routine…if you listen to music before going to bed that might be affecting your excitement levels. Don’t drink caffeine in the evening and try to do things that are more soothing. Try reading a book before bed.
