“An apple a day keeps the doctor away”

Sure it’s catchy, but is it true?

Taking care of you body has immediate and long term benefits. By exercising regularly and eating properly, we are doing our part in staying healthy. But even the healthiest of people can get sick!

Going to visit your doctor for regular check-ups is still the best way to make sure your body is in tip top shape. Your doctor is a professional who can answer all your questions, and if they cannot help you, they can certainly refer you to someone who can. Furthermore, your doctor is the only person qualified to diagnose problems and prescribe remedies – so don’t miss that appointment!

FitKidz is not a replacement for your doctor. Think about us more as the friend you would consult before you see your doctor – ask us questions, express your concerns. We’ll do our best!

You should visit your doctor regularly…not just when you are ill. Once a year you should have a physical examination and at that time you may have you blood checked and voice all of your concerns. You should prepare a list of items to speak about with your doctor. Don’t forget to get your eyes and teeth checked regularly.
